Mt. Sugarloaf State Reservation

A state park in South Deerfield, Massachusetts called Mount Sugarloaf State Reservation is well-known for its expansive vistas of the Pioneer Valley and the surrounding countryside. Visitors may marvel at breathtaking views of the Connecticut River and the surrounding valley from Mount Sugarloaf’s 791-foot top.

You may drive your automobile up to Mount Sugarloaf’s summit along a twisting route, which is one of the mountain’s distinctive features. Based on the weather, this route is open from mid-May to mid-October. Visitors may take a leisurely drive up to the peak at this time and take in the stunning sights along the way. Visitors may leave their cars once they reach the summit and stroll to the observation tower to take in even more stunning views of the region.
