National Parks
The United States National Parks are a system of protected natural areas that are managed by the National Park Service. There are over 400 national parks in the United States, which are located in every state and territory. These parks are home to a diverse array of plant and animal life, and many of them also have significant historical and cultural significance. Some of the most famous national parks include Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon. The National Park Service was established in 1916, and its mission is to preserve these natural and cultural resources for the enjoyment of present and future generations.
